In 1991 John Fourkas and Freedom Kefaloudaki, two young and eager to work decided to work on Friday bread. They opened a small shop in a neighborhood of Chalcis, and began to hack their way in the business world. For a time being only the two of them made only bread and nuts. But their love for the work of the baker and the joy of John made the pastries just the sought after and started a small bakery in the neighborhood to become known throughout Chalcis. In 2001 the small bakery moved along the coast of Chalcis, near the Kourentiou and thus opened the first Meidani town!
With a modern workshop and expert staff managed to make the name Meidani namesake with the quality, good service and respect toward the consumer. The sophisticated quality and traditional methods of manufacturing bakery won the love of the world, which led us in 2006 in our expansion by opening another store in Chalkis Street Neophytou and Giannitsis. In 2009 we added another member to our family by opening another store in the area of Karababa. And in 2011 we opened our fourth delta region, makes us responsible to our customers to continue to offer the same excellent quality and traditional taste in our bakery, and then in 1991.
